This book tells about how Doris Christopher invested $3,000 and has produced a nearly billion dollar business. There are lots of exciting real-life ideas and innovative concepts for any small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur.
Read the book to find tips about starting up a business, creating a concept for a business and setting priorities, hitting the $1 million dollar mark and knowing when to slow your growth, steering clear of naysayers and dealing with adversity and establishing a stress-free work environment.
Here's a quote from Warren Buffett....
"I saw this business for myself when I attending my first kitchen show. It was easy to see why this business is a success. The company's products, in large parts proprietary, are well-designed, finely crafted and above all, useful, and The Pampered Chef Consultants are knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
It also offers its Consultants and incomparable business opportunity, allowing men and women to build a home-based business of their own, based on Doris Christopher's personal blueprint for success. When you read the profiles of The Pampered Chef Kitchen Consultants in Chapter 8, you may wonder you're doing in your nine-to-five cubicle while these folks are happily cooking their way to fame and fortune.
I would challenge anyone on Wall Street to take $3,000 and do what Doris Christopher has done: build a business from scratch into a world-class organization. But follow the simple steps in this book, and it just might happen. Come see me in Omaha when you've put together your own recipe for success; we pay cash and Berkshire's check will clear. In the meantime, read this book. Then read it again."
This book is available at a special discount for a limited time at Amazon and other nationwide bookstores

(60 mL/2 fl oz)
US Regularly $4.99 - Special $4.59

Homemade Root Beer
1-3/4 cups/425 mL sugar
2-1/4 cups/560 mL water
2 tbsp/30 mL Watkins Root Beer Extract
Root Beer Syrup
Combine sugar and water in small saucepan;
heat and stir until mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat and
cool to room temperature; add Root Beer Extract and mix thoroughly.
Place in well-sealed container and keep in refrigerator.
To make a glass of root beer, place 1/3 cup/80 mL of the syrup into
a glass. Add 5 fl oz/150 mL of club soda or sparkling water.
Fill glass with ice or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a frosty
