Diane's Diary-ah

Just checking in since it has been so long since I've written again.  Busy as usual but handling things okay.  I even was able to get the bath tub spotless with a lot of Tilex and other stuff. It will be nice if we can get to some day redoing our bathroom entirely. I think it is just that the tub and such are the original ones from when the house was built in the early 80's and they have lost their protective porcelain finish.  The previous owners sure were good at hiding all the imperfections.

On a good note the back yard is looking nicer with the additional benches and decoorative planters.  :)  I just love making it look more inviting and charming.   It has been hot and dry (more like August) the last week or so, the grass is getting dry. 

Gearing up to go back East next week to help the folks settle on their house and move here. I better pack a warm sweater! I'm sure to get cold there since it has been so hot here.  Bye for now.

Wow,

Haven't written in this lately but can't say it is from being lazy.  It is more like I've been working from 8AM to midnight lately-and that is way too much!  I am strongly considering cutting out that 2nd part-time job.  I don't have time to do anything but sleep, make a meal, do the bare minimal house cleaning, etc., and I'm back to it the same the next day. Even weekends been working a lot.

I actually enjoy going to our store Wood Stock on Saturdays so that I pull myself away from my work.  

We seem to get some customers on the weekends so that is a good thing. Honestly probably could be closed during the week and still do the same amount of business, but hub is commited to staying open 7 days/wk and being there every day.  He doesn't get much of a break either. Thinking about changing summer hours to closed Monday and being open longer into the evening. 

Can't believe it is June already! One of my daughters is back in PA now for a little over a month visiting her dad and friends.  She is really bored being here so I'm glad she will enjoy her stay there. 

Well I have to get going so I can go join him today. Gorgeous day out! Will write more later.
