Diane's Diary-ah

It is officially not 8:30 yet so I am not going to start working yet. I just happen to be sitting here and available for a few minutes because my cleaning lady comes at 8:00 so that steps it up for me to be ready earlier than normal to start my day.  Now don't be jealous because I have a cleaning lady.  I HAVE to have one!  With 6 dogs and the amount of time I work which lately includes every single weekend, I barely have time to keep up with the laundry and meals - you can ask my family. :)

So..except for the massive amount of work I've been doing ,there isn't much else new to tell you because other than eating and sleeping what else have I had TIME to do ? NOTHING?!   Even though the winters here are considerably mild compared to where we used to live, I am ready for some steady warmer weather.  Getting up to 30 degrees, even though it may warm up to 50s or even 60s...is getting old to me. I just want it to be no lower than 50s in the am and 80s during the day.  I guess a move to the Hawaiian Islands would be the only way to really get that. I actually probably COULD do my job there since I work at home...but I'm sure real estate is through the roof there and besides, that just isn't going to happen. My folks are nearby and they need me, and the rest of my family is here too (at least in the main US). 

I did have a saturday a few weeks ago that I had free to straighten out this office.  Looks pretty well organized with not a lot of piles here and there. Got a decent handle on our income tax situation too. Thanks to the loss for the store, we may not owe very much if at all. There is a plus side for being in the red I guess. Still would be nice for the store to do better. 

I'm always taking a look at all the things I represent too and deciding what to cut out or not. I'm definitely keeping the Affordable Mineral Makeup  business as I just love that makeup and get at least one order a month with it. The lia sophia I have a hard time letting go of. Had a great show at my sisters in November and earned over $400 doing that. So I'll probably never let that go.  The rest, I'm not so sure.  Many I really don't promote. The ones I am in for free there is no need to drop. If it doesn't cost me anything I don't mind keeping them.

Thinking about joining Avon because I can always find something in there that I like. But I don't know. I just don't have time to promote anything but need to find out if it costs a lot and what the min. purchase requirements are. If it isn't too bad may do it in a few months.

Oh, here I am saying nothing is new but there was an unfortunate event last week!  My computer crashed! Yup, the hard drive on the replacement computer I just GOT in October!  What a PITA!  I was trying to work with 2 laptops.  It is hopefully being repaired (and hope I still have all my info on there too), but I brought the tower down to my office from our bedroom. I rarely use that computer because can't get a good signal.  So I'm working with that and on desktop again.  I keep forgetting favorites or files or email addys I just don't have on this one and it sucks!  But I'm getting by. Lucky had a back up that I could use!

Well it is officially 8:40am now, so I guess I better get to work.
