I have been getting busier at work which is a good thing!  Although not totally confident about the future at least feel okay about the current situation. 

Spent the morning sewing a mattress cover for a doggy hide-a-bed that my hub had made for the store.  It turned out pretty well - thank god mostly straight seams.  I knew if i didn't get it done right away I would feel like it was hanging over my head. 

Now it is straighten out office time. Sort bills. See about sending out fillers to mompack members. I've got nearly 3 cases of lia sophia catalogs and I've got to send them out so I don't waste them.  Sure wish my online side businesses would get some orders. :-( 

Since I'm assuming scary though it may be, that my job is secure for now anyway, I decided after cleaning the house myself and trying to keep up with the fur of 6 dogs, that I am going to hunt for a cleaning person.  I did get in touch with one gal but I may check out a few others before deciding. She was suppose to call me around 2:00 yesterday (to finalize as we had already talked) and didn't until after 6:00. I didn't pick it up because I was a little mad she didn't call me sooner.  I like to feel like I can trust people and maybe it is not big deal to most, but I want to be able to rely on what someone tells me - which I rarely see around here.  I treat business as a business and expect others to, even if they are a cleaning service and not some big company.   But anyway, called a few others last night but they didn't call me yet today.  Granted it is saturday, but i want someone soon.  So if they don't care enough about business to call back on a saturday, I'll just hire this gal and see how it goes.  All I know is I can't stand cleaning and it takes up so much of my weekends which I'd like to enjoy a little bit since I currently don't have to work during the weekends like I used to.   Maybe I'm asking too much for a cleaning person to call me on a weekend when they are probably off, but if someone were to call me to place a lia sophia order or to ask me about Affordable Mineral Makeup I would call them back whether it was Saturday OR Sunday.  But then again I'm diligent.

Okay well it is after 1:00 and I'm going to get to it.

I've recently joined Twittermoms and was already a member of Twitter for a little while now. Just wanted to welcome any folks from there to my blog. It isn't fancy and maybe I'll look into getting one that is a little more pleasing to the eye...but for now this is it.
