Time for a quick update...

Been busy very busy...with work of course...and not much else which is why I haven't written in so long. Did take  some time out to pick up our newest furkid - Kaci.  Not that she could ever fill the void Misty left, but she is getting along good with Molly and they are becoming play buddies which is good.  She is a cutie patootie and is smaller than oiur Reebok.  Here's a pic

I can hold her easily and she likes to sit on my lap when riding in the car.  When I pick up Stacey from practice I just scoop her up (don't need a leash) and she just relaxes in my hand and I carry her to the car and my lap!  She is that small!  She takes no crap from the other furkids though so she is fitting right in.

I am really thinking of quitting my other pt work as it just isn't worth the aggravation!  I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall with these folks!  On a good note things at my day job have improved and I also got a raise! :))   Gives me even more reason to forget about the other.  Maybe I could actually take some evening time with my family or if they are not around, pursue selling jewelry!  :)

I see I haven't written here since Sunday. It hasn't been the best of weeks.  I have been swamped with work day and night up until today.  Since it is Friday, if I get any new work today I am going to take my time and do it over the weekend.  I keep thinking about how I wanted to work less after moving here and play my guitar more and that just hasn't happened.  I can count the number of times I played my guitar this year on one hand.  I haven't had the chance to sing much either.  I can always tell, my voice just doesn't sound up to snuff.

But there are times in ones life that you have to do what you have to do and that is where I am right now. I got up super early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so I just got up. So I'll probably feel like a zombie all day  -ugh-.

Trying to visit and possibly adopt a new rescued sheltie for our family.  After losing Misty there is a void and also Molly doesn't have anyone else that wants to play (as in either of the other 2 we have).  So I'm looking to adopt Kaci who is also a tri and close to 2 1/2 yrs old.  Hopefully they'll be buddys like Misty and Molly were.  

Can't believe it is May already. 3 short months and we will have been here for a year already!  I really like the weather in general but seems every other day there is a chance of severe thunderstorms with hail warnings...not used to that.  Luckily so far it hasn't hit us too badly.

Maybe I'll go get a jump start on work, or maybe I'll putz around on my computer..  ;-)
